Specializing in
Compassionate Coaching
Every day we encounter life and its challenges.
Relationships, occupations, families and personal issues create distractions, sometimes conflict. We can feel that we’re stuck, that we’ve arrived at an emotional impasse, and that we’ve tried everything to fix our circumstances, but nothing works. And the challenges become problems.
Compassionate Coaching provides another perspective. You learn understanding and patience for yourself and your circumstances. It is goal directed, it achieves results, and brings forth change that you can sustain in every part of your life. Challenges are met, problems are solved, and life becomes managable again.
Anger Management
I specialize in managing and controlling the feelings, reaction, and pain that result in an outburst of anger. I help those in need of balance in their lives. I reinforce techniques of using “binocular vision”, or looking at the issues through the eyes of another. I teach “active compassion” to recognize your feelings and the feelings of another within the context of all interpersonal conflicts. I offer six, twelve, and twenty- four week programs to assist and facilitate balance and peace.
Mediation
I provide Private Family Court Service Mediation in lieu of FCS at Family Court. I have worked with Family Law attorneys and their staff in mediating child custody issues, offering an alternative to litigation in Superior Court. I have developed criteria for Co-Parenting and strategies to assist both parents in offering structure, care and guidance to their children through this difficult period.I offer both parties extensive and comprehensive input to this plan, and review the plan thoroughly before submitting this report to your legal representative and/or Family Court.
Teenage Difficulties
From time to time, parents have trouble relating to their teenagers. The problems and distractions teenagers face can be very difficult and sometimes their issues develop into truly important behavioral challenges. I offer teens a quiet place to talk about their feelings. They have a nurturing, safe environment to discuss the things about their life that they see as truly significant. Change and structure is introduced, involving the family’s input, and strategies for growth are applied.
